Hi, In my old install of mastercam I got an accurate time estimate for the current operation in the setup sheet. Now I don't get anything... If I do NCUtils/Backplot mastercam gives me a time estimate but I have the feeling it is way off (too long). Any ideas on what settings I need to input or change ? Also, for surface/parallell operations, where is the axis along which the parallell cuts are made defined ? thanks, Andy |

OK, so by playing around with the feed, plunge and retract rate I am now getting acceptable time estimates with backplot. One question: what feed does backplot assume for rapids (g0) ? can I set this parameter somewhere ? thanks, Andy |

Look for this... Code: # Numbered questions for Mastercam # -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 38. Rapid feedrate? 1100.0
