Need version 9 to help train a friend

Hey guys. I am very familiar with Mastercam 9 and am helping a friend who is trying to learn it at the shop he works at. Trouble is he dosn't get enough time on the computer at work to learn how it works. They don't even seem to use the program much because nobody ever worked it out and they consider it a waste of time hence they frown on him trying to use it there. I was wondering if there was a cracked version or perhaps a way to get an educational copy for training purposes so he can learn the software at home? I'm pretty sure I can get him up to speed if he can just get some decent time with the program. I had the same problem years ago and used to have a patched copy of 9 to learn how it worked but that computer is long gone so I can't give it to him.

What version of Mastercam does his work have ??
If it is X or later....DO NOT TEACH HIM V9

You would be teaching him things that have been superceded & are in a different format & location...he would be lost, & still stuggle with the later version.

Download a demo of the version his work has, ( or obtain a HLME educational copy from a reseller ) & do yourselves the favor of learning it together, you would know the basics of what is required,
( these versions can do all a full blown version except post or be opened by a proper version )

We don't usually deal with "cracked" versions. In our line of work, it is not worth crossing the line, & to end up getting caught, so I do suggest staying on the legal side of the line.

Tell your "Friend" to stay a few hours after work for free to learn the program. I am betting they wont mind. Never seen a shop that would mind.

Thats how I learn the unix system at the shop I worked at in the late 80's. After my 12 hour shift I would spend 2-4 hours a day on the computer( no one there to help, just me and the late shift), but then again that was just me
