How about use the XForm option, and choose to make a copy when you transform. That basically offsets a copy of the part.
Hey gang,
So here is what I'm wondering. I have a part that ive set up tool paths to mill one side if it. What I would like to do is be able to cut the one side, then flip the stock and have the exact same tool path's on the other side. Is there an easy way to do this? I tried to mirror my part, which I though would work. But all my tool path's seem to be inverted aswell. Please help!
Thanks all.

Yes exactly what I tried, but the tool paths reversed aswell. The work around I did for it was to re-select the chain's for the contour path's. This seemed to work! Not quite one click, but for more simple parts, it did the trick.![]()
Lots of different ways to approach this.....
If your part has different features on each side (that are modeled) you need to be using the WCS button to orient the Tool and Cutter Planes.
If your just making a mirror of the top part, I'd just flip it in the vise and use a different Z offset.
hi guy:
in mirror window, select reverse toolpath button. And see if this meet your requirement.
