    SW Solid to MC problems

I post this as a last resort, I keep trying to open a solid from SW in MCX3 and no matter what I try, the SW part keeps staying on top of the stock in MCX3. How do you get the SW part to the bottom of the stock ?

The part pictured is just an example block I was using to figure this out before bringing in the real SW part. I've tried saving in various file formats and also different WCS's in SW and it stays on top of the stock in MC.

    Please advise !!! Thanks !

EDIT: I think I got it, finally ! I had to select "Import Solids History" Thx anyway.

    stock setup

Well... The simplest way to do this is just to click "bounding box". This will make the smallest rectangle of stock out of your piece.

Eventually you will want to setup your stock like the piece you are working. So you can add some stock on the ends in the next window it prompts.
