I have an IGES file that I just got. When bringing it into mastercam x5 it tells me it is switching from english to metric. I have imported file and while importing I could change the geometry from metric to english. I know I can scale it in x5 but it would still be set to metric any help out ther thanks

| Let the Mastercam convert the file - when complete, look at the lower right of screen for the units that Mastercam is in - to change the units, open the system config file [Alt-F8] and select the (DEFAULT) imperial config file ( lowest pull-down ) & accept. - It will switch it to your desired units & ask to scale the part, say yes and accept all done |
