On some Solidworks parts, the C and T have the arrow pointing upward as the WCS was set, but the G View has the Z pointing down. When I backplot, the the part flips upside down, with the tool also upside down. When I verify, the z direction is correct. The post files are also correct. How do you have all 4 Gnomons point in the same Z? Most of the time the backplot is ok, but the times it go's 180, i wonder what I did wrong? thanks |

| Gview is only for the display, it is not used for the WCS or T & C planes. it is only a point of view. Any Gview can be named and only then it can be used within the operation. You can set the Gview to the FRONT, while having the WCS and the T/C planes set in an operation so you can actually see the tool in elevation, then switch to RIGHT Gveiw to see the same operation |

| you got it to view it properly........stand on your head, LOL........or alter your Gview ( middle mouse button ) view planes G=graphic, T=toolplane(spindle axis), C=construction now look at those Gnomons again and see what each has near then, this is info to you also on the lower left of the screen regarding the selected planes |
