| Im trying to take a pdf file that has a part drawn on it to scale. So what I want to do is make it a dxf for my waterjet. Heres what I did: printed out pdf, scanned to jpeg, used chook (ras2vec), measured my 5/8 hole in the part, now it is .011. My ? is why did it scale down my part. I then used a pdf to jpeg converter so as not to use scanning software, same result. Can anyone help me with this one? Thanks in advance.

| The jpeg compression changes the size so it will not scan to size. so scan measure a feature and scale to correct size.
