I have mastercam x that I use on all of my modern machines. But now I have a SL1 older cnc mori lathe, and have to DNC to it. What settings do I set in the port settings? I want it to where it just sends one line of code at a time, untill the machine is ready for the next line, so it only reads off of the computer and does not read anything from the memory of the machine. Thanks guys.  |

| It all depends on the machine, baud rate, stop bits, etc what does your manual say ? your transfer program ( Cimco, mastercam, DNClink etc ) should be configured to suit the machine. You may find the answer searching thru the controller maker's forum ( i guess, Fanuc ) |
