Cimco Edit 4. Problem opening NC files | |
I've been using CimcoEdit 4.33 for years on several different comps. Suddenly my main desktop has trouble opening my .nc files. If Cimco isn't already open and I double click on an .nc file it will launch Cimco and start up just fine but when I double click on a 2nd file it takes about a minute or longer before it will open the file. It does it whenever Cimco is running whether there is already a file open or not. I re-associated the .nc with Cimco but it didn't change anything. The same version of Cimco is running on the laptop but it has no trouble popping open a 2nd, 3rd or 10th file right away no matter what the size.
Both run XP Pro sp2 with plenty of memory and processor. This just started to happen a few weeks back and I can't relate it to anything I changed, added or screwed with. Seems more like an OS problem to me but.......
Ideas?
