Recently I've been plagued with this error when using Surface>Roughing>Contour. Usually I get FZT Error message:Security check failed followed by warning: toolpath allocation too low. MC Router 9.1 Dell 3Ghz with 1GB Ram 512000K allocated for toolpath If anyone came across this - please let me know Thanks - Joe |

| Greetings, I usually get that error when I allocate TOO MUCH memory. Try using no more that 256000 for both data and toolpath. Mcam will automatically re-allocate resources, up to a point. I have been working on a project that, with toolpath, is 650MB. I run it on a computer with 512MB memory. No problem. I also have a finer set of data points for the same project that, without toolpath, is 850MB. Still no problem. It gets a little slow using the swap file all of the time, but, it still works. Also try increasing the maximum swap file (virtual memory) size to at least twice your main memory. In your case, I recommend a 2GB swap file size. If you make the swap file minimum and maximum size the same value, it becomes a permanent file so the computer does not have to re-create it every time you boot up. Good Luck, ObrienDave |
