I'm trying teach myself lathe programming with X3 lathe and things are coming along OK. The question I have is the output of the post for a G76 thread cycle. My Machine Definition is the Generic FANUC Lathe 2x. This is an example of the code for a 5/16x18 thread. N100 G20 (TOOL - 3 OFFSET - 3) (STYLE E TPMM-221 INSERT - TPMR-221) N101 G0 T0303 N102 G97 S400 M03 N103 G0 G54 X.5125 Z.214 N104 G76 P020029 Q0. R.005 N105 G76 X.2443 Z-1. P341 Q100 R0. E.05556 N106 G28 U0. W0. M05 N107 T0300 N108 M30 Notice the E.05556 in line N105. I believe this should be a F.05556. My controller will error out until this is changed to a F. If I select in MC, the Longhand NC code format. It will generate a G32 but will still have an E. instead of an F. for feed. Is there some setting I have wrong? I suppose I could do Find and Replace in the post editor but I prefer not too. Thanks for the help,
