| Try ebay, or just google it and you'll likely find what you need. ![]() I just bought one off ebay and it works just fine. They are pretty cheap for just a generic one. You may have to get creative on the plumbing though.

| I've done many Vacuum Chucks for aerospace parts. send a few more clues to the sizes needed, Lip seals and correct vacuum bleeding is the key. Correct porting and manifolds too.

| Ive got several vacum systems, the best ones are using the VacMat mats as they give a good friction in xy and very good seal and the mat is .09 in thick so you can machine down into it as well. they want a bit too much for the plates so i made my own but i do buy the mats. simple stuff making the plates |

| Thanks everyone, We did make our own, however, the pump we used did not have enough CFM I am figuring to hold our parts good enough. Thus the reason I asked. There is several configurations available and I didn't want to make the mistake of buying the wrong one.. |

| the pumps i use are simple compressed air powered with a relatively slow pump down time. so i put a tank in line between the pump and chuck giving me plenty of instant power when i engage the chuck. also helps with leaks that occur when cutting thru the part into the mat |

| there is a place in Baltimore that sells the vacuum system that runs off the shop's air system the unit is about 6" x 4" and you can magnetize it to the machine cabinet. i am not sure of the name but i think it is called Linnair
