| There are many different 'flavors' of IGES files. Most high-end cad systems can tailor the IGES file to suit the requirements of MasterCam. Ask the sender to see if they can re-send you an IGES file that MasterCamn will read properly. Better yet, have them send you the model in either Parasolid (.x_t or .x_b) or ACIS (.sat) format. Make sure they send you a file that is equal to or only 1 or 2 versions higher than MasterCam will write. MasterCam will not read them if the version is too high.
