open catia part file in mc9.1 problem

hi all
i have catia 5, part file(solid), and i try to open it in mc9.1 as follows:
file/converters/next /next/catiav5/read/ after i click read i get command bar in mc's interface asks me to put a code number
any one have an idea what is the code's story???why do i need code since i have the file already saved and i have the 2 softwares installed on pc??

Mastercam comes with the software required to "convert" various files

These are an "Add-on", and require a code to activate the convertor. Being a 3rd party add-on, it is an additional cost

You can buy a car with the holes/recesses ready to mount the driving/fog lights, but you still have to buy the lights

Best solution, is to save the Catia file in another format in CATIA, so that can be imported into Mastercam eg IGES, STEP etc.

I think in V9.1 the STEP converter also needed a code to have it activated
