Machining angle in surface toolpath

Hi, I want to make a surface roughing toolpath where the machine cuts in lines along the y-axis, but mastercam seems to only want to cut in zigzags along the x-axis.

How do I set the angle at which the machine traces the surface?

In the finish parameters just put in an angle in the "machining angle" box to get it to go the direction you want.

Ah, is that only in the finishing toolpath?

because I was trying it it a "roughing" toolpath, and there was no machining angle option.

Im using x4 too

Are you using surface parallel? This is the simplest way to do what you want.
