Need Help!- no sim found

came in today master cam states no sim found
hasp is good i have never got this alarm before and have no idea how to fix it
i am running mill V2 and i need it up pronto
i no longer have the maintance pack

Do the basic checks before pulling things to bits

-Is the USB sim actually in the computer ?
-try the sim in a different port
-reboot the PC

i got this too after the install of X5

i just plug my SIM in an other USB port , no need to reboot

thanks for the suggestions
we tried everything except the obvious "plug the hasp into another computer running master cam" everthing worked fine on my other system
i had to reinstall for the other computer to start working not sure what went wrong
