New Computer, 25PIN hasp to USB issue

Hi Everyone,

I have Mastercam X. My new computer does not have a 25 pin parallel port, only USB. I have tried a few USB to parallel converters, but I just can't get my computer to recognize the hasp. I think the converter cables I have may be junk. Has anyone solved this problem? Ideas for me to try?

I just had my dealer swap mine out. I am in Canada so I was charged three times more than normal price. For some reason a hasp is very expensive in Canada.. I have heard 50.00 to have your dealer switch it. Just not here in one dealer country.

You need a USB Hasp. Call your dealer.

What if your hasp is for V9? Are they supporting the hasp for V9 I wonder?
I was told no more support for any other part of V9.

They will still do a Sim swap for White hasp,s for V9.
You are right about V9 sunsetting as the release of X5 but they are offering good deals for while to help people on V9 to move to X5.
