Hello again this one is real problem i cant find a way to get a smooth cut on this chain ive looked but cannot find the key to reducing the g1 moves to a finer res or changing them to an arc Thanks |

| Your arc is not perpendicular to the tool axis, so it would be hard to fit an arc accurately plus...arcs will not be fit to the toolpath as the "Filter Ratio" is OFF. To get any arcs, it must be ON (one of the other selections in the pull-down) To get closerr point to points, make the "Total tolerance" smaller ( say 0.0001"), this is the distance that Mastercam will allow the toolpath be away from the actual contour that you did select Note!....any splines that you select tend to output as point to point...you can "Simplify" any splines ( "Edit" pull-down ) to get some arcs ( depending on your settings ) ( hint....break long splines into shorter lengths to get more arcs ) |
