Newb to advanced mastercam programming

First of all, lets get it out of the way that I am a newb to advanced mastercam programming. Everything I know is from self learning on the program itself, with some help from the mastercam mill training tutorial book. My work likes to cross bridges when they get there, instead of planning ahead, so hence the lack of advanced training.

Anyways, to the issue I am having.....

First of all, i was having an issue trying to fillet the bottom of the triangles on the bottom to the lower surface like the top, but i just detoured that issued by profiling the parts with the 1/4" ball nose. Doesn't solve my learning, but I was able to get by by doing this.

Big issue I am having is that my machine controller (hurco vmx42) wont keep up with all the lines of code of the z arcs on the top fillet when machining. I programmed it with 1/4" ball nose with .002 overlap, surface finish parallel. I would upload that file but its 15 megs big, lol, so i stripped it down of all the tooling to make it easier to upload here. But anyways, my tool goes left and right in zigzag with .002 overlap, but when it gets to the z arcs, the controller cant keep up with all the lines of code so it takes forever to run the part in the machine, compared to what mastercam suggests it should take at 600ipm. During the z arcs, the feed actually slows to about 20ipm or less, due to not being able to keep up. On simple arc commands it flies thru them tho....

There has to be a faster way of machining this part (besides using radius mills), but I am stumped since i dont have that much knowledge of doing this stuff. I am all ears to suggestions. By the way, i use x3.

What material is this out of? I have to ask why do you want to machine it that way vs. just getting the correct roundover. The control memory is not the reason it is cutting slow. It is the acceleration and deceleration of the machine that won't let it get to speed. Nothing you do will change this. In the time wasted trying to cut it with a ball nose you could easily pay for the roundover and you program will be so simple since you're using simple 2D contour toolpaths.

just making it out of aluminum. and yeah, that was my thoughts exactly for really saving time.

Im in exactly the same situation as you with being self taught and everything. I always try to keep the programs as simple and short as possible as long as i get a good finish. If i was programing those i would have a pocket toolpath and contours for the roundover and profile of the part. Easy stuff and it will probably look better too.
