I am looking for software that will convert catia files to another format ie step iges etc. so I can open them up in mastercam I know mastercam has the software as an add on option. are there any others out there I can look at.. I am also looking for software that will unfold a part into a flat pattern. there isnt much out there that i have found that can do this since there are so many variable in making the flat pattern tia

Catia will support output of STEP files for example. ask the customer for that output. as for other question Solidworks can do this for example.

If you have one or two files you need brought in now send them to me and I will convert and send you back a MC file in the version you are running.
