| does anyone have any good setting for the arc error checking area of the arcs page in x-x4. In the linier conversion of arcs the line segments are longer in mcx than they are in mc9. using the same file . or should they be the same for x y and a axis. using the same post that was updated from MC9 to MCx please help Richard |

| This problem has nothing to do with the post. It has everything to do with the linear tolerance setting. The difference you are seeing is because your X version setting is larger than the V9 setting.

| Are these line segments on the geometry or toolpaths ? If geometry,,,it should be the tolerance settings that you have been looking at if toolpaths,,, look at the filter settings in the operation, and the arc settings in the control definition file |
