I have a 4x8 plywood router and I'm trying to cut stuff out. It seems to be working so far for single pieces.
My question is: How do you nest parts in MasterCam X3? I'm trying to do multiple pieces on a single sheet and would love it if the computer could do the efficient arrangement for me.
Unfortunately, I bought the machine used and there are no tutorials under the help button.
My other option is to design all pieces as one "part" in SolidWorks and then try to delete some tool path entities to eliminate doing the same cut twice.
I also have LazyCam on the machine but I don't think it can nest parts?
Any good books on how to use Mastercam or even a Mastercam manual out there?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
