| Hi all I want to cut a 2D contour toolpath in a very specific way. This unfortunately means the contour lines have to cross over each other. I'm driving the center of the cutter with 'compensation type - off' MCX4 takes the short cut. Is there a way/setting to make MC follow the profile as I have selected it? The line end points are not at the intersection! Thanks in advance Craig |

| turn OFF the gouge checking, but also check the toolpath thoroughly that it is doing what you want it to do PS, I may be incorrect, it should read "turn OFF the look ahead" , this allows a toolpath to cross itself like trying to trace the figure 8 without lifting Last edited by Superman; 07-21-2010 at 07:03 AM.
