Iam trying to cut a 2-1/2" npt Mastercam has given me a tool path to thread it but what size should I cut the shaft to .I need the o.d. size for the small end and the o.d. at the big end ?? CAN ANYONE HELP Iam new to cutting threads on a lathe I normally run a mill HELP |

| The taper is a 1/16" per one inch, which is the same as 3/4 inch in a foot (angle 1o 47') 60 Deg. taper angle for NPT And check out this link http://www.engineeringtoolbox.com/np...ads-d_750.html |
