    Generating Gcode from Mastercam

I designed a guitar and created toolpaths in MC. When I generate the gcode and put it in my controlling program it shows the guitar model but has big circles and starts to cut the huge circles and not the guitar.

The preview in MC looks fine so I'm guessing something to do with the gcode generating? Could it be the wrong post processor?

    Any help would be appreciated

here is the MC file. When I export this I get a Gcode that looks and does nothing like this file. I think its my PP, everytime I try a PP it does something different. Hoping to hit the right combo. If anyone can help that would be great.

    Thanks

It's your post. You need to make sure that you have the right post so that the code is correct.

I understand now that its the post. Where I can learn how to read and edit a post? I also use CUT3D and Vcarve software and both of these programs generate gcode fine for mach3.

Making edits to a Post is not recommended unless you know what you are doing as this could adversly affect the operation of your machine and cause unexpected results such as the complete distruction of your machine and or tooling not to mention your stock you are trying to machine.
You can read any post with a text editor but making changes and saving it with a text editor can lead to problems. If you want to do it yourself I suggest downloading a Post Editor (I use Alpha-edit) and make your changes, use the "save as" command and save it under another name and use it with a great deal of caution.
Best of luck to you but I would recommed you get some local help if you are unsure of what you are doing.

If the Soft is Legal I would contact MC Support they should take care of it at no charge. Otherwise I would recommend a program like VisualMill that is quite capable at a fraction of the cost.
All comments made are my opinion!
