Mastercam lathe problems

Does anybody know how to set up mastercam lathe? When i create a rougninh operation it doesn't seem to work very well on the simulation screen it looks normal but when i post the code it adds these weird toolpaths. and when i cut using mach3 it adds extra cuts or unusual toolpaths. Please any help is greatly appreciated.

Can't image what toolpath, since no toolpath to look at. post it on here.

I have a feeling the setting is not right like clearance angle .....

It really doesn't matter what tool path i do they are all turning out the same. Just doing a simple roughing and finish op on a shaft everything looks good on the simulation but when running on the machine it performs strange moves that don't show up on the mastercam screen when looking at the tool path. I have followed all the tutorials and they all turn out the same?

Buy me a Beer?

Are you using cutter comp control and toolnose radius and your clearances lead in/outs, retracts etc are not larger than the tool radius ??

"cutter comp in control" can give a bit of headache at times,

These are the areas I would check out 1st

am using cutter comp in computer, i had the screen set for diameter -X, -Z. i don't know what tool nose radius is? i am using leadins and leadouts i have not set tool retracts i'm not sure where to set that. i will try to post a screenshot of MC to show what the screen toolpaths look like, then i will post the code created and you can open it in mach3 and see the extra tool paths the extra tool paths are similar to the following code inside the quotes "G3 X.3294 Z-.0334 R.0257 F5.". Below is the whole code created by MC.

I guess figuring out why when MC posts the code it turns out different than the toolpath created in the simulation screen. if you look at the toolpath on the screen print then copy the code above into a text file and open it in mach3 you will see that there is extra toolpaths created i would like to know why and how to fix this? this is one example i have created different drawings and code and each time the post adds extra toolpaths similar to the ones above

Yeah, check LEAD IN/OUT parameter, special lead in on the rough toolpath.
