| This depends on your post, so just do a simple one hole program at first. You will have to calculate the the feed & RPM by hand then use a drill cycle that retracts at feed rate. It is pretty tricky at first so use a block of wood to practice on. You can also go to tapmatics site and they will have instructions on how much distance you need to subtract from the hole depth. I have since sold our old machine that did not have rigid tap, it had several tapmatics in the umbrella. It works perfectly once you figure it out, but be warned LEARN ON A BLOCK OF WOOD!!! |

That does sound right,or it might have been the bore cycle because I seem to remember setting dwell time at 0. |
