I curently run MC 9.1 trying to remember all the things i have forgotten over the years i finally got the toolpaths to do close to what i want but i cant find a post processor that gets close to the code that my MAXCNC machine can read without major code editing does anyone know of a good pp that might work for me i dont mind editing but this is almost as much and just g coding the program |

MaxNC mills use a variation of the Fanuc post-processor. Do you have a Mach3 post? It's possible to use Mach3 instead of the (clunky) MaxNC CNC control program; this helps with file-handling too. Then you can use Mach3 postprocessors, which are fairly widespread these days. Andrew Werby www.computersculpture.com |
