I don't see why you could not fit the appropriate filters?
What I would do is find the local Safety Supply distributor, usually they are more than happy to work with you and make the appropriate government approved product recommendation.

Found a few great deals in my local area on spray booths. They are ranging in size from 12'x8' to 12'x18 feet. They were used to spray cabinets, laquer, varnish etc.
I need a powder spray booth and instead of wasting time building one, i would rather purchase one. A new one is going to cost me about 3 grand (plus 1k to ship) for the size and functionality i want.
I found a few around my local area that are only made for liquid spray applications. Could i easily convert the filters over for powder use, and spray powder in them and not paints, solvents, etc?
I don't paint, just want to shoot powder. It could save me about 50% of so if i buy used local. Just wondering if it would work.
Thanks,
DiyE
