how to trouble shoot with ladder diagrams? and an example.
Ideally you should get a programming manual for the PLC control you intend servicing.
Also a knowledge of boolean arithmetic would be good.
I believe there are many examples and short tutorials on the web.
A ladder rung consists of Boolean expressions that progress from left to right rail and the result of the Boolean logic culminates in an output coil, timer, counter, register bit.
