    something small for stencils

    hey there,
    im new here and thought to ask this first is possible to have a real small cnc machine. all i wanna do is cut out stencils out of a A4 page. airbrushing.
    just thin plastic.
    is it possible? w/o having it tooo big.

    Look into Vinyl plotter cutters, they start at about $300 and likely a better choice for you.

    If you are talking about a CNC mill, don't think a mill is what you will be needing but you can put vinyl cutters on them and do a pretty good job. What's nice about DIY is you can make them any size you require.

    That is a question you will have to answer for yourself.
    Mechanics look simple enough, the electronics would be my challenge. There are lots of examples right here on the CNCzone that fully describe a build, you will just need to look and decide which and/or what is best for you.
