Hey all, pardon the amateur question here, but I searched and I could not find the information I was looking for.

Our shop just bought their first cnc for small job shop type stuff and the question of how to sufficiently keep the air supply dry has come up. Currently we have an 80 gallon compressor that maybe sees 5-10 hours of run time a week. The CNC will be placed roughly 5 feet from the compressor and I am not sure on what air drying system we should be running. The CNC wouldn't be running very often. A few times a week is what I'd venture to guess.

Is a multi stage filter sufficient, or do we need a refrigerated air dyer from Harbor Freight alright?

Appreciate your time gents.
