    Default Postprocessor question

    Hello all,

I'm working on a CNC project that will require me to use as postprocessor called WinCNC_mm with file formats .nc or .tap .

What postprocessor can I use for this machine?

    Thank you.

Your question is confusing. You stated which post processor you plan to use, then asked which post processor to use. Or are you asking about the file extension?

    Please clarify.

    Thanks,

    Dan

This is my first CNC project so I apologize for the mess my question must have been. I did not find that post processor in the list of available ones in madCAM so I was wondering if I could use another in its place. I don't know the type of the machine I'll be working on just yet and that's the information I got from the workshop.

Thank you for your reply, Dan!

If you can request a short sample of code that shows the beginning, end and tool changes, I can make sure you have a good post.

Can you paste it here? Dropbox wants to access my contacts list, and I'm not good with that.

    Thanks,

    Dan

The machine doesn't do automated tool changes.
