Sorry if this has been asked but I did try looking for the answer.... Is there any way to run MadCAM on rhino 5 32 bit?
If madCAM is installed for Rhino 4, it should run with the Rhino5 32-bit version. It's probably just the madCAM 4.3 toolbar that is closed or missing.
1) You can type madCAMcommand from the Rhino command line and see if there are any madCAM commands. If there are madCAM commands listed, then the madCAM plugin is installed.
2) Go to Tools / Toolbar Layout in Rhino5 and see if the madCAM4 toolbar is listed. If it's listed, just make sure that madCAM 4.3 is checked, else it will not be visible in Rhino5.
If you still are having trouble, please send an e-mail to joakim@madCAMcnc.com and I will give you a phone call and guide you through the steps.

Good info, I though that Rhino 5 required an entire new code set.
OK I see MadCAM listed in the plugins menu, but I can't find it in the toolbar list. I have all sorts of MadCAM commands in the Toolbar dropdown, but no toolbars ever display. I am running the 64 bit version of Rhino 5 with the 4.3 beta. Is there any hope of getting this to work? It would be very nice since I am doing most of the modeling in V5 now. Thanks.
madCAM 5 will be able to work in V5 64-bit.

Timeframe?
I dont actually know; it was a beta when I first started using it so all my folders say Madcam 4.3 beta and then the official release came out. I'm pretty sure I downloaded and installed the official release, but I cant remember the details, none of the folders changed names and i think the toolbars still say beta. Anyway it seems to work well enough.
I would expect that madCAM 5 will be available by the time Rhino V5 is released. When will that be? That's the million-dollar question. Rhino V4 has been out for 5 years now, so I suspect McNeel is anxious to get V5 shipped. It's way overdue.
As for madCAM 5, I expect there will be a period for testing and troubleshooting before it's available, even as a beta. This is a fresh re-write, so it's going to need a good "shake down" to expose the bugs before anyone starts actually cutting with it. Personally, I'm excited to see what Joakim has come up with for madCAM 5.
