madcam locked up after latest release DL

I have an issue that happens after latest release download, I select model, cutter, roughing path... click simulate.. all fine. When I click play in simulate this pops up and it shuts down rhino and exits out of it.

Does it do this every time?

I would re-install madCAM and see if that helps. Also, check the download size of the madCAM43_111123.exe file. It should be 10,493Kb. I mention that because I had an issue a while back (although not the same) and the problem was that my download was incomplete. I downloaded again and it was fine.

Joakim is at Euromold so he may be out of touch for a bit. Hopefully we can figure this out.

Yes, does it everytime. I had a hunch it may be dl issue.

I have no way of re-installing madcam, never saved it... It do I just DL the demo and install my code... That I have saved.

I would think you could do that. I always keep the install files, so if you need it, I could zip it and e-mail it off-line. However, I think you could just download again from the madCAM web-site.

Just download it again.
Access violation is either a corrupt software or broken hardware (memory). Do as Dan says, download and reinstall.
Make an uninstallation first to be sure.

I just uninstalled it in add/remove programs... re-installed it.

When I open up rhino, I now have 2 madcam toolbars.

I tried both toolbars on same part... after you select 3d and roughing, the thinking process either goes by in a blur, and then simulate doesn't work at all... or the thinking process just locks up and hangs.

think I got it... I had to re-do all the settings in rhino that madcam likes

truth is, I haven't cut parts on mill yet. Just finished my mill (or will this weekend)

I periodically use simulator, and that seems fine now.

That's only a way to get it working, it doesn't solve the problem. You can run MadCAM with any settings you like, but the toolpath precision cannot be guaranteed.
I still think you have a broken package (or corrupt RAM).
If you uninstall via the madCAM-menu (Windows start menu->madCAM->unistall) you should get rid of the settings in Rhino as well, ie the double menus. But it doesn't really matter, it's only a plugin config in Rhino.
