Is there any way to set up tapping in madcam? I have to machine some 210mmx120mmx10mm plates with nearly 100 through threads in three different sizes.

Edit. In the operations tab of the drill toolbar there is a tapping option but it's greyed out so I'm unable to select it.

I don't know of any simple way to tap with madCAM. Currently there is no support in the posts for drilling cycles (G81, G83, G84 etc.) but it's been discussed for future versions. If you look at the drilling interface, there is the beginning of that in place, it's just hasn't been finished yet.

Saw that thanks Dan, I'll try emailing Joakim direct and see how far along he is with the development of these new functions.

You won't see them added to madCAM 4.3. Joakim is focusing on getting madCAM 5 finished. The Nov 17 release of madCAM 4.3 is most likely going to be the last one for a while, unless someone stumbles across a critical bug.
