    Why is this happening?

I have a number of places in a roughing pass where the cutter stops and then slowly spirals down a small amount and then continues with the regular cutting pattern. Can someone explain why this is happening? Is it an anomaly of the code or does it have a purpose? If it's an anomaly can it be eliminated?

    Thanks.

Looking at this a little bit more it seems to have to do with setting an amount to leave in the roughing dialogue.

    Hi Chris,

Is there still an issue here, or did you answer your own question?
