Thumbs up Empire Engineering & Prototype

Some of you know that I was looking for bearing carriers to do my 4-link conversion. I ended up designing the parts myself using eMachineshop. eMachineshop wanted almost $600 to make the parts! I posted in the RFQ area and started getting quotes around $500!

Out of the blue, I got an email from Ryan Dygert with a company called Empire Engineering & Prototype in Cicero, NY. Ryan said he could make the parts to my specs out of 6061 for $210. I sent him the final DXF file and OK'd the job two weeks ago and today I received the parts. They are perfect! I spec'ed the bearing bore at 72mm and I just measured them to be 71.997.

I would highly recommend this company for your machining needs.

I'd like to take this opportunity to thank Lee as well, not only for posting his praise for us, but also for being an excellent customer. Every one of us knows that a good job done takes more than just a good supplier, it takes a good, honest customer as well!

Just wanted to say I did repeat business with Ryan at Empire and they did a great job as usual. The pricing and delivery time is fantastic. Give them a try.
