WHAT'S BETTER CNC ROUTER MULTICAM 1000 OR GERBER SABRE 408 HELP PLEASE

Hi I need help, I'll buy a router and I have two proposals (Multicam 1000 series and Gerber Sabre 408) I will make a large purchase and wanted to know what the best option.

The machine I will use in order to consolidate and cut cardboard boxes, acrylics and thick and thin wood, pvc, etc ....

Why don't you give us the specs of the two machines, so we can compare apples to apples

If your a Signmaker get the Sabre. It does an excellent cut and has a lot of nice features.

The materials that we often use are foamboard, lexan, PTG, styrene, PVC (poly vinyl chloride) like a foam

There is no problem cnc oruter to cut /engrave these materilas you mentioned ,and our CNC router could cut cut.engrave these materials perfectly .

Hello! which CNC router are you talking about? gerber or multicam?

The Gerber is a good machine, but has a proprietary controller, and not a lot of Z clearance. It has a great cut quality, though and is a good machine for a sign shop.

The Multicam seems to have different designs every few years, its hard to say. But they are well build and cut well.

The AXYZ is a good serious machine too.

( Stay away from china machines, every one i've seen has problems with wiring , bearings and quality. )
