Finishing CNC Programing classes

I will be completing CNC Programing classes soon. I would like to find a person or machine shop in my area willing to assist me gaining experience in the field & exercising my newfound knowledge.
I live in Texas, Sherman McKinney area. I am open to any ideas you may have that will help me gain the experience I need to work successfully in the field.
