hi, we do not have to toggle any bit.
i just dont turn on the bar feeder.
what is it telling you? i do have a block skip in the program as to not
let the bar feeder count parts
We have a PUMA 2500 that has an inoperable bar feeder on it. Does anyone know which bit I can toggle to get the lathe to ignore the bar feeder?

The loader has been hooked up for 5 years but not used in the last two. It is causing the Lathe to alarm out. The alarm is 2014 Alarm faults with the loader. I did not find the alarm in the manual. I was assuming it was an optional parameter I could turn off. I suppose it could be wired in to the inputs?
from my experience with ours, if its not on, which it does not turn on with the lathe, it has its own power switch.
the only times i will get an alarm is if something in the program is calling out a code for the bar feeder.
that is why i leave it off and block skip the call out for the bar feeder.
I made a typo its alarm 2041. Book just says same as screen, no help. Our loader comes on or use to when the machine is under power but before the control power is pressed. I am looking at relays now.
when do you get the alarm, when you try to run a program?
