    Default Coolant foaming ?

Hey all. Kind of new here. I have two okuma genos L- 250's. Running the same coolant in both. Mix's are good and the same in both. One machine is fine, the other foams. Foaming fairly good. What would cause one machine to foam and the other is fine? Don't know if it makes a difference, one machine runs only steel and the machine that foams runs only copper. This foam has been there on and off, but lately foaming a lot more and not going away.

Maybe the coolant pump sucking air somewhere? Maybe copper reacting with the coolant? Try some hot tub anti-foam, available at your local hot tub / spa supply, or your local Walmart.

Figured out what was going on. Real fine chips getting around the screen that covers the pump intake. Went ahead and took the old coolant out, cleaned the tank, removed the pump and cleaned all the screens around it. Works fine now.
