Is there an error message other than reset?
I have a Dynacnc pasma/router with a Dyna6000 series controller. Mach3 ver 1.9. The torch is a automated Cutmaster 52 with a hand torch. My problem is the plasma side. The machine will cut and follow the gcode fine for 14-20 inches then it trips off (goes into reset mode) shutting everthing down. If I only cut 12 inches and stop, then do a new pierce and start to cut I can go another 12 inches or so, etc etc. Makes no difference if THC is on or off.
The machine is flawless when cutting wood with a router.
I am at my wits end and about ready to quit the plasma portion all together unless one of you Gurus can point me in the right direction.
Any ideas???
Thanks
Mike

FIXED AT LAST!!!!
Thanks for your help on this. it turns out it was noise from the current transformer which gives a arc good signal. I bought a automation wire harness that tapped into the pcb board on the torch. Then I cut my first piece of metal I didn't have to scrap in 9 months. Maybe the hair will come back?
Thanks for your respondes

I have a plasma table (Dynamic Plastics and most electronics from CandCNC)running Mach 3 and it has worked well until the last couple of weeks... Now I cannot load a DXF. The system cuts existing things fine, but I am not able to get any new work into the system. Is there a way to just reload the DXF loader, without messing with any of the settings from the rest of the system. Any help or suggesations would be much appreciated...
I hope I am posting this correctly(first timer).
What are you using as the DXF to g-code conversion? LazyCAM? Since it loads existing art it has to be something in the CAM part of the equation. MACH does not run a DXF directly. Use the CandCNCSupport Yahoo forum to get specific help on using MACH and (if you use it) SheetCAM for cutting with palsma
