2.0 GHz / 512 MB Ram / 128 MB AGP ok for Mach3?

I have an old pc with 2.0 GHz AMD Athlon Processor, 512MB ram with 128 MB nVidia 5200FX AGP card. It has XP Pro on it.

Would this be fine for Mach 3?

I think you're ok if we go by the minimum requirements. I have 1.6 GHz and 512 MB Ram. I feel the need of more RAM when working around with big files. It would be better, no doubt, if you increase the RAM capacity. I will go to 2 Gigs on my computer ASAP.

But don't wait until you do the upgrade. Start working on your project. It may be a little slow, but you'll be learning meanwhile.

Are you running the free version of Mach3?

How big are you files and what type of issues do you have?

You should be fine, I've run MACH3 on a 1gig 512mb machine, but wouldn't want to go any lower.

The file was a bitmap of 1.6 MB if I'm not mystken. The issue? You have to wait some fraction of a second
I'm running Mach3, free version. I also open, at the same time, which I don't think is necessary, Cambam 0.8.2, which is a free version.
It's better if your computer has more resources, like more RAM, but I think you'll be okay.
