I'm testing my DIY cnc router, with steppers NEMA 23 1.8º of 16.8 kg.cm and the C4 controler. I've tested Mach 2 and it runs perfect with the next configuration. But I can´t run the Mach3 to work properly, axis Y and Z loose steps... MACH 2 configuration: Port #1 0x378 Axis X-Y-Z-A Kernel Speed 25000 Hz Output pins: X step port 1 pin 5 X dir port 1 pin 4 Y step port 1 pin 7 Y dir port 1 pin 6 Z step port 1 pin 3 Z dir port 1 pin 2 A step port 1 pin 9 A dir port 1 pin 8 Slave axis_ X -axis -> Slave:A Motor tunning (X-Y-Z-A) Accel: 10 units/s2; Vel: 1,2 units/s step per unit=200 Minimun pulse width=15 usec Direction prechange=3 usec Mach 3 configuration: (Like in Mach2) and: Motor tunning: Steps per = 200 Vel=120 mm/min Accel=200 mm/s2 Step pulse 1-5 us=2 Dir pulse 0-5 =0 I hope some expert can help me! Thanks. |

| If I recall, isn't the steps/unit different in Mach2? Also, you have a pulse width of 15 in Mach2 and 2 in Mach3.

| Hi Gerry. The steps/unit(mm) is 200 both. I have 1'8º step motor, and a screw of M6x1, so it's 200 steps to have 360º, and machine moves 1 mm. Also yes, I have a pulse width of 15 in Mach2 and 2 in Mach3, but I have tryed all posibilities of combinations Step and Dir pulse with no success. Always I get the same, X (and slave A) axis work fine, but Y and Z motors loose steps. |

| OK. In Mach2 your accel is 10, but it's 200 in mach3?
