Hi Just registered and looking forward to learning more about CNC machiniing. I want to convert a lathe and mill and I am starting to gather information and compoments. I build model traction engines and IC engines, in future I want to develop my IC engine interests for which I think CNC will help especially with multi cylinder radial and rotary engines. I was thinking of using MACH 3. I believe LazyCam will be needed for my lathe conversion, I am wondering if Windows 2000 operating system will be ok for both of these? Thanks Nige |

| Mach3 runs under Windows 200, so I'd assume that LazyCAm does as well. Best way to find out is to download it and try it.

| Not sure about Win 200, but sure works fine under Win2000. Much faster PC needed for Mach3 to work properly on XP. XP has too much baggage and needs more memory than Win2000.

My wired keybord has th same prblem but I think is is th software not servicin the keyboard probperly. Missed interrupts=missed kys . How can you expect this stuff to work properly when the the shift key information is a state, and not buffered. That's another reason to use a 4GHz PC. I have bigh thumbsd 2. |
