How do I Kill Merlin?

When Clippy, the oh-so-obnoxious MS Office Assistant, first showed up on my computer, it became my mission in life to obliterate every trace of the ^%^$%)(*^% from my computer.

So, you can imagine my reaction when his pal, Merlin, popped up in Mach3. How do I turn this stupid thing off and keep it from coming back?

Hi, try deleting the Help.txt file located in the Help folder inside the Mach3 directory. I think that should kill him for good.
