| A USB to parallel cable won't work. The only way to use Mach3 through a USB port is with an external pulse generator, like a Smoothstepper or Nc Pod. www.warp9td.com www.oemtech.com

| I just got SmoothStepper 1.2 in the mail today but I'm a little bit confused after reading the manual. Do I have to set up Mach3 software all over again? There are three resistors but I don't know what they are for. |

There should be a reference for which resistors go with which voltages. Keep it simple by keeping everything running off 5V if you are still stuck  |
