    Latest Test Run

Moderator please remove all my other posted messages they are no longer relevant. Thank you sir.
ger21. I did a MDI test with the code you suggested earlier here.
    G0 Z1.5
    G0 X6.75 Y1075
and it performed beautifully. Went right where I wanted it to be. So I guess I've finally got it to move correctly. But I still have this issue. The toolpath display window shows about a quarter of the part to be made. It moves to the correct start point goes into the material the correct amount them starts to do what I want, the stops at this line of code. N49 30X-3.2786 X1.6454 and the status line says, " Too Fast for pulley using Max." What does that mean? I ran it again to see what would happen and it stopped at line, N500 X-3.3265 Y-1.6544 with the same status line error. This file isn't too big is it? Any ideas as to what is set wrong with the pulley, or is it the code?

The pulley speed thing is because you have requested a speed that exceeds the way the pulleys are set up. It's really not that big of a deal and it won't keep the program from running. Do you have the spindle speed running through Mach? I mean - do you have a speed board and can you command your speeds within the program or do you run your spindle manually? You might need to set up your pulley speeds in Mach. Forgive me if you have all of this taken care of!

It sounds like you have the demo version? Forgive me if you have mentioned this in the past - I have not seen your other threads (been away quite a bit lately!). Mach demo is limited to 500 lines of code and it will stop running beyond that. Sounds like that could be the case here. If so, you will have to break up your program into smaller chunks.

"N49 30X-3.2786 X1.6454 " - what's with the "30" right before the first X? That's not supposed to be there - maybe its supposed to be a G0 or a G1? Also, you have commanded two X moves on the same line. One of those should be Y I assume.

    Scott, he mistyped N4930 X-3......

Speedre, the pulley error comes up when the line S36000 M3, and just stays there after that. You can disregard it, as you're not using the spindle speed.

And Scott is right, you're running in demo mode. So am I, and mine stops at the same place. About 500 lines in. If you have a license, you need to put the license file in your Mach3 folder.

So if I understand this the " S " is for spindle and the number 36000 is the rpm's, correct? Then how and where in Mach 3 do I change that? I'm not using it to control the spindle speed. I use a variable speed 1 HP router for my " spindle ". And yes it seems I am using a demo version. Where do I confirm my license in Mach 3. I have copied to the Mach 3 folder already?. See, I'm learning one step at a time.

V-Carve Pro is adding the S36000. The 36000 is assigned to the tool your using. It doesn't hurt to leave it in there, as the message is just a warning.

You should have a license file in the Mach3 folder. They send it to you when you register mach3.
