    Pulse settings

    Hello all,
I have a small cnc mill carver. I'm using a stepper3 board resistor type board.
Not a chopper style. Anyway. I just rebuilt the thing. I'm into the motor tuning area of the software. What would be the correct setting for the pulse width indicator? I indicated settings are from 1-5. but anything within those limits, and my motors run like crap. So I bumped it up to 25. Here I get smooth running motors, but no torque. With my current motor board setup. I think I can safely only achieve 20ipm. Sucks I know, but what am I gonna do?
    Any idea's?

    TIA
    Neil

What settings do you have under Config > Ports and Pins > Motor Outputs for Dir Low Active and Step Low Active? Have you tried changing those either way?
